Artist description Absence Effect is a 'one man'-band, I should better say, a project. All instruments you can listen in my tracks was played by me. My name is Michael Vladykin, aka Mike Lord. I play guitar, bass, keyboards, and drums. All tracks presented here has been recorded, mixed and mastered by me in 'Fuzzy Logic' studio. I've got tonns of emails people wrote me. The most common opinion of my music is 'the mood-making one'. I dunno what is the style of all this shit presented here, but I'm trying to make music what can be listened... The best way to find out the truth is to listen to the tracks.. I hope you'll enjoy it...

Artist History In the year 1999 I moved from the city of Udachny (http://www.aykhal.ru/Udacny.htm) to Moscow. Just when I got my first pay for a work (I used to be a web-designer in Caterpillar S.A.R.L.), I bought a guitar. That was Hohner Rockwood LX90, all track here where live guitar is present was recorded with that guitar. Well, after guitar I bought Yamaha DX7, and then i began to write music. First track was named 'Estrangement', later known as 'The Andes Wouldn't Be Enough'. Well, thats the history of this band- furst guitar, first synthisizer, first song... Everything keeps going on =).
