Artist description
I play all the instruments and do all of the recording, engineering, and production out of my own modest home studio. With my music, I aim simply to allow a space for the mind to think, nothing more. I don't intend to ever earn a living making music, which is a good thing since the trend around here is to charge artists for the space (now that advertising has saturated the internet and people are numb to it). Sooner or later I'll put up my own site, but for now there are three songs to enjoy. |

Artist History
I used to be in many different garage bands with some great names and horrible talent (The Obsequious Bloodbath was one of 'em, Cosmic Barf was another). After the 80s you really couldn't survive very long in bands with names like that, so I wound up in college joining up with a couple friends, Matt Custer (who's bass guitar work can be heard on "Fury" as well as his production and lyrical contributions on some of the older tracks here) and El Salvador-ian folk legend Keith Sanchez in 1989 under the name "Entry." We went our separate ways more or less in the early 1990s, but officially in 1997. Sometime in 1993-4, I played a few shows as a backup bassist in a metal-punk-ska band called "140dB" based out of Las Cruces, NM. In 1999 I "reformed" as a solo recording act with the name "Vorpal" to finish some older concepts and develop some new ones. Most of the old stuff (and some new) can be heard here. |
