Artist History
Velveteen Snackcake began in late 1996. The idea to start a band came from a few of us sitting around one of Madison's local drinking establishments and trying to think of funny names for bands. We came up with stuff like Duke Chocula and the Butterscotch Rebellion, Toby Hull and the Toby Hull Dancers... Velveteen Snackcake was born that fateful night. We've been in the studio acouple of times since then, had lots of shows around the state and been party to numerous acts of senseless lunacy and untold shennangins. We plan to keep writing new songs and delivering the existing ones with intensity and enthusiastic reverie till the day the nuns come home and lock us back in the basement. So, check out our music, go to a show and check out our web page. |
