Artist description The Turina Trio boasts three young German musicians, educated by internationally outstanding soloists, chamber musicians and music instructors. Each member of the Trio can look back on years of experience both as soloists as well as chamber musicians. As a Trio , they have recieved numerous music awards and distinctions.In 1996 they were admitted to the foundation "Podium Junger Musiker" in Baden-Württemberg. In 1997 they took part in a special concert of young artists in the renowned "Festival of Schwetzingen" in Southern Germany and one year later, in 1998, the Turina Trio was awarded the "Premio speciale Carlo Soliva", the first prize in chamber music at the 8th International Music Competition in Casale Monferrato/Italy.In 1999 they were invited for concerts in Italy and for the presentation of two programs at the German Embassy in Riyadh/Saudi Arabia.
