Squirtgun is a pop-punk band on Lookout Records. Squirtgun features legendary punk producer Mass Giorgini on bass guitar, and shares two members with seminal punk band Screeching Weasel (Dan Lumley, and Mass Giorgini). In addition, Mass and Dan are members of Common Rider, featuring Jesse Michaels on guitar and vocals (Operation Ivy). Dan is also currently playing drums with the Riverdales (with Ben Weasel and Dan Vapid). |

Artist History
Squirtgun had a song ("Social") featured on the soundtrack to the Universal Pictures film "Mallrats." Another Squirtgun song, "Mary Ann," had a video featuring Dawn Wells, who played the original Mary Ann on television's Gilligan's Island. The video received extensive airplay on MTV, including charting in the 120 Minutes Top 40 in May 1997. The Squirtgun song "My Jeannette" was featured in a Disney film called "My Date with the President's Daughter," starring Dabney Coleman, and another song entitled "Come On Let's Go!" is featured in the MGM Pictures film "The Extreme Adventures of Super Dave." The band has toured extensively in both the U.S. and Europe, and has performed with artists such as NOFX, Blink-182, and Less Than Jake. One of Squirtgun's songs, "Make it Up," features Green Day's Mike Dirnt on backing vocals. |
