Artist History Formed in 1986 under the name "Identity Crisis". They recorded four demo tapes in 1986. Recorded their first demo tape in 1986 at Number Nine studios in Toronto. Recorded their second demo tape in 1986 at Track One Audio, in Toronto. This demo tape went on to win the 1986 "Factor Award". Played around the Toronto (Ontario, Canada) area at top rock clubs, such as Lee's Palace, The El Mocombo and The Gasworks. In 1986 they opened for "Humble Pie", "Ingve Mielsteem" and "Kick Axe". In 1987 they continued to play around Toronto.The band took a brief creative break during 1988 during which time ten originals were written for their 1989 performances. They made third out of 1400 other bands in the Q107 Home Grown Contest for 1989.The song presented for the contest was "Runaway Train" (Runaway Train has been added to their DAM CD and take note, this material is ONLY available through MP3.com!!). This same song was later featured on the Q107 Home Grown album for 1989. The band also finished second out of 18 bands in The Heat Wave Contest for 1989, once again the song presented was "Runaway Train", and this song was featured on the Heat Wave Live album for 1989. They played frequently at all the big Toronto clubs. Decided they wanted to get into some serious songwriting and that's where they'be been at for the past few years. The results can be heard here.
