Artist History
phog masheeen would work in the pre-dawn hours programming electro pop music. Using lyrical themes of crime and lazieness. Phog brought in the outside influences of bak-flo, pho-d and Baby Bok Choi to drag him out of what was appearing to be a pre-dawn rut. With the addition of the lovely and talented Baby Bok Choi on vocals the line up is complete. |

Press Reviews
As stated in Mutant outsider Pop station of the song I'm not the only (tweeker in here): Parental Advisory This track is a crack-up. (Uh, semi-pun only semi-intended.) Using a slash-and-burn postmodern style, SCOW moves abruptly from industrial rock to industrial electronic (big jump there, hunh?) but displays a smarmy sense of irony not usually associated with either of those genres. The industrial guitars are big and mean, the verse vocals are wildly distorted and spot-on for the genre(s), the drums pound with appropriate fury. There will be some who find mixing humor and industrial music somehow sacrilegious -- to them we say: "Turn it all the way up!" |
