Artist History
Cleveland hardcore kids advancing from the state of Ohio with a promising future as a headlining band. Outcry was a project that all the members of the band felt it was the leading of God to begin a new future, unsure of what and where they might end up. Taking off in early of 1998, the band has undergone some slight changes- but nothing has slowed their progress down thus far. Outcry is notorious for having more dance action on stage when they're playing than the entire dancefloor full of windmilling and floorpunching psyched kids. Outcry brings more energy to their sets than that stupid pink bunny and fastens it down with tight grooves. Heavily influenced metal/hardcore, isn't everyone these days? They originally released a three song demo tape independently, which is still available for the shallow price of nothing. That's right, these kids are in it for the music and whatever direction they feel led to take their music, screw corporate rock! Following that release, they submitted "The gods that failed"for the Clenchedfist Records compilation and then found time to split a vinyl with their brother band Vessel on Bound By Love Records. Currently, they are assigned to Clenchedfist Records and awaiting the release of their first Cd EP, ready or not, here they come!Like all other bands on Clenchedfist Records, they bring a positive message to the ever-changing hardcore scenes. A message of hope, peace, and love- bestowed unto them by their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ (the sole purpose of Outcry). Outcry is a fellowship for their brothers, a ministry for those less fortunate, and a praise offering for their God. |
