Artist History I grew up in Walsh IL and went to High School in Sparta IL At the age of 7 I began singing solos in school programs. At age 13 I started singing with various local bands. Growing up in a musical family it wasn't at all rare to hear Ray Price or Lynn Anderson playing on the record player. My Parents had a huge collection of albums by the older "genuine" country stars, that I grew up listening to. Because of this I feel I have a better understanding of what country music is all about. I can still remember being about 6 or 7, sitting as close to that old Hi-Fi as possible so that the music was surrounding me so much that it put me in my own little world. I would croon along at the top of my lungs to the Lynn Anderson album playing "Rocky Top" and "Seven Lonely Days". I could sing both sides of that album word for word.
