    Artist History
Kwis Infinite (pronounced Quiz)is a 19 year old Emcee who resides in Brooklyn. Originally from Cleveland Heights, Ohio, Kwis began emceeing at the age of 12.At 14, Kwis (then known as Lil' Lee the Riprazenator) joined the Down-n-Unda Click. While enjoying local notoriety, Kwis became frustrated at the group's inability to get anything done. However, during his time with Down-n-Unda, Kwis met Jeff "Dirty Rum" Rozier and a number of the Heights emcees he still collaborates with today. After leaving the group, Kwis worked for a few years as a solo artist and collaborating with other artists such as Sketch and Obie One, who both appear on the song Parental Advisory. The highlight of this period came when the three opened up for Redman at the Clevleand's Agora Theatre. In late 1996, fed up with the stagnant content of hip-hop, Kwis was looking for something more. He found it in Mishun Test. The two combined to form the group The Wise Guise (later the LMNTS). The two released an album, "Knowledge is Eternal" in August of 1998 on the independent Cleveland label, Vandaloc records. The label dissolved in early 99, leaving the duo wondering where their careers were headed. Kwis and Test continued to prepare for a second album, while attending NYU and Babson, respectively. However, in August of 1999, the strains of distance and lack of money became too much to handle and the group broke up.Without missing a step, Kwis began preparing for his first solo album, Through My Eyes. Continuing to collaborate with Test, Rum, Sketch, Obie, and the rest of his Hts. compadres, Kwis also branched out and began working with live instruments. Also appearing on the album are LJ of the Yellow Five Orchestra, an emcee from Queens who Kwis has been working with extensively and poet Miriam Stone.
