Artist History The name I chose is Jazzman's Journey because it sums up my musical experience. I originally played drums for 7 years, playing in the school band and was your basic rock & roll drummer. I then switched to bass guitar, which I've played for the last 17 years. I started out playing Iron Maiden & Judas Priest, then mellowed out a little through my new wave age (New Order, Echo & the Bunnymen). Finally, the past 7 years I've concentrated on being a jazz bassist. It's opened my eyes...and taught me where I don't want to go as a musician. Today's jazz sucks! So, as a distraught and frustrated musician, I've journeyed and searched for a new style that combines all the styles I like. Enjoy!
