Artist description
Beatlesque... Beautiful... Blessed... James Shepard has been singing, playing guitar and writing songs since 1964 when the Beatles appeared on Ed Sullivan! Drawing inspiration from the lads and other melodic harmony driven bands...he has continued to write and record for all these years...enjoy the fruits of that labor of love! James and his family recorded a contemporary Christian CD in 1996, called "Four Shepards & A Lamb". The CD is an eclectic mix of styles. James' two sons, Elijah and Isaac, also contributed their talents to the making of the CD. A new CD project is currently in the works and should be released in early 2001. A lot of talented musicians have contributed to the making of this new album, including Phil Keaggy, Pedro Bufford of "Mustard Seed Faith", Stan Linder, Elijah Shepard, Isaac Shepard, and many others. Some of the titles from this new album are now available for listening on this site. All tracks were recorded at EAGLE CANYON MUSIC, Coto de Caza, Ca. www.eaglecanyon.com |
