Artist description
HNR (Hit 'N' Run) is a cult rock outfit from England with a melodic but hard edged style. The classic five piece line-up with two guitairsts / no keyboards means HNR has a very powerful sound. With good use of dynamics especially in Ballads like 'Forever' and 'Dying Prayer' the power in HNR becomes even more prominent. HNR are not a band that needs a studio and overdubbing to sound any good - check out the demo tape recordings and hear what HNR sound like playing totally live. The music sums up a way of life - motorbikes and fast cars, lots of hair (preferably big!), tight trousers, nightclubs and parties, love and relationships... you know where HNR are coming from. It's not about tackling politics or global warming - we'll leave that to the experts. It's about living today and surviving 'til the next. The more fun you can have doing that the better! Turn the speakers up loud and pose in front of the mirror for a while - those bills can wait! |
