Portland singer-songwriter Gregory (PJ) Smith writes songs from personal experience and observation. Using a piano for his primary writing instrument, his well-crafted tunes recall the songwriter era of the 70’s while still being new and original. His music is a little of several genres, including adult alternative, pop, rock, and an occasional studio-only diversion into electronica. |

Artist History
Gregory (PJ) Smith has played with bands throughout the Pacific Northwest. In the early ninties, Smith played keyboard, guitar, and sang in hard rock band Stigma. He played keyboard and guitar in alterna-pop band LoveNancySugar in the mid and later ninties. In 1995, Smith produced and recorded GregsMyth -- his first solo album and best representation of what he wants to do. He has done studio work with other musicians and co-produced various recording projects. Currently, Gregory (PJ) Smith has put together a live band and that is playing live in the Portland, Oregon area and started pre-production for the next album. |
