    Artist description
Hi. My name is Bernhard. Industrial Electronic and Trip Hop are the two main styles i produce. I've been working on other styles aswell, but mostly stick with those two. I love using guitars and electronic instruments which sample mostly Live instruments (ironic isnt it :) hehe). My main goal with my music, is to make each and every track sound like a movie soundtrack. Basically, every song has its own little scene and the whole CD is kinda like a movie. :) I think i brought that feeling over quite decently, but i'm sure i can still learn more. I also try to use other musicians, like piano players, guitar players and drummers to help me out or some even perform in my songs. In the future i will try to make my music more live sounding and make use more musicians rather than electronic instruments. :) I hope to produce something really interesting combining my love for Heavy Metal, classical music, Trip Hop and other music styles. We'll see. :)
    Music Style
it varies alot. Trance, heavy metal and breakbeat ... somthing like that
    Musical Influences
Almost everything. If i hear good rhythm and a bad ass sound thats all a song needs for me.

    Artist History
I started Djing Trance and Progressive House in 1996. My dad still had his studio from his musiclife. One day he just came up to me and said "OK, I have this studio. If you're not gonna use it. I'm gonna sell it." Well, there's more to that story but that's basically how it went down. :) So I started to make music, and it was lots of fun. At that time i thought my stuff was badass, but when i look back at that stuff, i wouldn't even call it music what i made back then. :) hehe... Well I've been doing it for 4 years now. I guess i could say I learned quite a bit. Never had too much problems with the beats, but harmony was my biggest problem, and it sometimes even is now. I learned how to play the guitar in the meanwhile, which has seriously helped me out alot. Especially in the harmonic section. :) But without my dad, i probably wouldn't be writing music at this time... but i guess it's in the family. :)

    Press Reviews
"DoubleU induce hypnois through repeated mid-tempo breakbeats and squelching synthesizers, four-by-four pounding, and fuzzy down-tempo ambiance. Sweeping Jarre-influenced synths and metal-tinged Industrial aggression add some variety." - Noah E., listen.com // "This is some of the finest electronic music out. Double U hits ya with hard rhythms and spacey sounding funk that's sure to cause undergroung dance floor devastation worldwide. This is some of the most creative electronic music yet too be discovered!" - DJ Mark J., AI Collective // "intense beats and music - a must have!" - DJ FM // "truly varied electro-something for all!" - GITM, mp3.com/gitm // "Theme music to the apocalypse" - Stefan Anion, The Mind Theory
