Artist description
Clear Blue Somewhere was born out of a desire to provide an alternative edge to the current standards in Christian praise and worship music. Performing as the church band for the Promiseland/World of Pentecost , Clear Blue Somewhere has begun to gain notoriety for their own unique brand of original music. Clear Blue Somewhere has shared the stage with the likes of Phillips, Craig, and Dean, CeCe Winans, Russ Taff, Michael O'Brien, Larry Gatlin, Cindy Morgan, Kathy Trocolli, and the Katinas. They also back Phillips, Craig, and Dean for shows in the southwest region of the country. Clear Blue Somewhere's music reflects the energy that was brought down in the upper room experience on the day of Pentecost. Clear Blue Somewhere is about conveying the power and energy of the Lord Jesus Christ while taking listeners to new heights through the medium of praise and worship. |

Artist History
The music of Clear Blue Somewhere is as diverse as the backgrounds of its members. Not quite contemporary Christian, funk or Gospel it is always alternative and pushes the edge in its own unique sound. The smooth soulful lead vocals of John Ragsdale supported by Charity Lowery's beautiful background vocals set the tone for a unique sound. Add to the mix the rawness of Al Barley's distortion-laden guitars and combine it with the pulsating backbeat of Jereme Jeane's drumming. The bottom end is held together by Jacob Lowery's funk-inspired bass guitar and the solid drive of Nathan Kemnitz's keyboard. Steve Sensenig greases the mix on Hammond organ. All of this together gives new meaning to the term "wall of sound." The result is a fresh new approach unlike any other. |
