Artist History
Allied Forces:Allied Forces; a barrage of diverse talents smacking the audience with the cutting-edge sounds of hip hop and R&B. Comprised of many subgroups, producers, and solo-artists, the Force brings to the table versatility, hitting every individual for a greater potential market. From the dirtiest, unbelievably raw edged raps to the smoothest, velvet-laced ballads, Allied Forces can produce anything, including dance, house, and reggae, while maintaining a hip-hop edge. Allied Forces was formed in 1996, after a group of talented artists banded together to organize an arsenal of musically inclined members. From then, the group has grown through each others' influences, helping one another develop and achieve their individual creative abilities. The talent is immeasurable and uncomparable when the name Allied Forces is described or compared to other groups. Unlike groups in the industry, Allied Forces brings it all. The Force doesn't focus on a certain market. We, the Force, want the whole world to listen. No ear will go untouched by the music of Allied Forces.I am Buddhakai, the blessed one, head of Allied Forces. I am a producer as well as a rap artist, songwriter, engineer, and graphic artist. Even as a single entity of the immense talent in Allied Forces, I can do it all. "From the dirtiest, unbelievably raw edged raps to the smoothest, velvet-laced ballads," there is nothing I can't do. My forte is Hip Hop in any form. I enjoy writing ballads, dance, and house, but my favorite form of music is shown through the expression of rhyme at a tempo ranging between 85 bpm to 120. As an Asian Hispanic, I know I can open up even a greater market for hip hop! My subgroup in Allied Forces is "New Moon Cult Productions." It consists of three rap artists; myself, alongside two lyrical geniuses. First, a Caucasian of Italian decent called "Angel Faced Assassin," brings to the Mic. a deep voice which rappers find to be intimidating while the females describe his voice as sexy. Secondly, the "Buddhakai," dark skinned lyricist from a pacific island decent, brings to the Mic. versatility in flow, lyrics, performance, and energy. Last but not least, "the Prince of Darkness." Of African decent, the Prince describes himself as "a savage disguised as a gentleman," the smoothe, baby-faced rapper might fool the untrained eye. Unexpectedly, The Prince hits the audience with the illest lyrics, nothing less.Allied Forces has four head producers that overlook the productions of the whole group. Buddhakai, the head producer of the Force, deals with the whole aspect of the music, covering everything from pre-production, recording to mastering. Mynt, the head producer for R&B and ballads, has a smoothe touch when it comes to the piano keys. Ja'Vu, one of the illest keyboard players deals with the production of both Hip Hop and R&B. And last but not least, Mizeree'. Mizeree touches upon every aspect of the production sequence, adding genius to the sounds of the other producers. Also, as an independent producer, Mizeree offers his forte of house and hip- hop. Other producers include Grace Mahusay, Curtis Duane, Hobbs, Mr. Bisco, Loki, and Jade. With this combination, Allied Forces has created a great following locally. The music is appreciated and loved by many, and the numbers will continue to grow. Allied Forces is in the process of self-marketing, selling shirts, designing web sites, and rocking local shows. In continuing to produce music, represent and maintain, Allied Force will open doors to a greater market and a new industry. Many races, many faces, talented artists and prodigal producers... Allied Forces. |
