Artist History
In the fall of '98, a group of musicians with roots in jazz, fusion, funk, rock, and R&B, came together to create their own musical stew. That group is 1400 Miles. Their mission? Explore God through music. Music that touches the emotions and challenges the mind. Sometimes unusual, always passionate. Based out of Pacific Union College, in Northern California, 1400 Miles is: Brad McCoy, Derek McCoy, Jason Decena, Bryan Henry, Chris Carbajal, and Darren Hagen. The name? It comes from the Bible. Revelation chapter 21, verse 16 records the dimensions of a city that's currently under construction. A city to blow away all cities. 1,400 miles tall, wide and long. It's a vivid reminder that God has big things in store for us. And you thought Santa was cool. |
