Artist description
KALIBER:
Imagine this senero, .......................................................................................................................................................................what would happen if scientists were to cross a hotheaded Italian
with a lyrical genius? They would genetically
engineer a clone of the one they call Kaliber.
As he elbows his way through the surge of rap
superstar wannabes coming out of the woodworks
today, very few can outshine the raw talent of
the kid who is twisting up the rap game with
his style and presence. Like any skilled
lyricist, he tells his own story in every verse
with a signature style that can either get the
party movin or the lounge session buggin.
Kailber's beats are master minded and assembled
by his boy in the Dirty South, Mike407.
MIKE407:
For 8 years MIKE407 has been exploring and
recreating the sound of the Underground . His
musical career started out in the breakbeat
town of Orlando, FL. Mike407’s passion for
the broken beat immediately put him behind the
turntables where he perfected his skills spinning
electro breaks . MIKE407 made a name for himself
spinning legendary jungle sets at various raves
and concerts all up and down the east coast and
Canada. It was then that 407 decided to start
producing his own jungle tunes. Slowly he put
together a studio that would serve as his new
home for sometime . After producing jungle for
3 years and releasing several singles on cd and
vinyl, 407 decided that it was time to use his
knowledge of breakbeat construction and production
toward his dream of producing mainstream hits.
To that end he reunited with Kaliber, an emcee he
worked with earlier in his career. 407 began
producing hip hop tunes for Kaliber over the
summer of 2003 and has been consistently pushing
out top notch beats. |
