Artist description
Whitebread is George Flanagan. He plays all the instruments and writes all the songs. He has appeared live in the solo acoustic mode and also in band mode with a drummer and bassist. But the most enjoyable format for him is in the studio where anything is possible. |

Artist History
Whitebread has been kicking out the jams since 1996. He was once known as Subrosa until another band stole the name. He moved to NYC from Massachusetts two years ago to live the American Dream. He's appeared in multiple subway stations and open mics and even headlined a couple of times at cozy little clubs. He's currently looking for a bass player to reform the full band version of Whitebread. So if you like these songs and play the bass you should contact the 'Bread immediately. |

Group Members
Just George. Though Don Alexander has been known to throw down the beats for the Bread. Matter-of-fact he appears on "Reaching Up", "Empty Hole" and "Let It Go." |

Instruments
You give the Bread an instrument and he'll make a sound with it. |

Press Reviews
Whitebread used to be quite keen about the press. Until Barry Fresca revealed to him that the press is a bunch of robot droids. |
