Artist History It all started way back in December of 1997 when Ian, Brad, and Nate decided that it would be fun to get together every once in a while and play their instruments along with their favorite bands; such as Reel Big Fish (before they sucked!) This fun lasted for a short time before Ian began coming up with ideas and writing songs on his guitar. Brad began to write lyrics and Nate just sat there and drooled a whole lot. Within about three months "The Band Song" was born followed shortly by Mr. Meals (names changed to protect innocent.) In the meantime long time friend Matt was off spending every waking moment of the day at Swim Practice and Swim Meets. The current band members at the time: Brad - Sax, Ian - Guitar, Nate - Drums, were all reluctant to tell their good friend Matt about the band for fear that he would want to join and due to his domineering nature would try and take over. However this was not the case. Matt was informed of the band and shortly thereafter bought a bass (one of those headless heavy metal ones.) He began to practice with the group and bass parts were written leading to the first totally finished song Mr. Meals. Throughout their time together the PE All-Stars have experimented with a few different line ups. A person which will remain nameless was in the band for a while singing and playing the guitar but due to his uncontrollable temper he quit the band in a fit of rage while having a temper tantrum and has not talked to us since. The newest and still current member of the band is Dan, a seemingly mild-mannered individual that is known to explode into a fit of hilarious antics on stage. Since joining 4 months ago Dan had contributed vocals, organ, and some real crazy antics at our live shows. Well, this is the basic story of our existence and our current line up.
