Artist description
AN eclectic blend of techno influence, heavy sounds, sampling techniques, and classical mindsets. It evolves into a superfunk rock-out beat smash, with smooth overtones. However, most of it's still in my head. ((OK, right now, I'm working on some stuff. I'm getting all new equipment, so it'll be awhile before my next song comes out. Don't worry though, come April 15th, you'll hear some tight sh** like you ain't never heard before. Cya then!)) |

Artist History
P.I.M.P. (or Party In My Pants), a digital upstart and all around weird satyresque mixer, got his start as a low level DJ in '91, working for public radio on a variety of shows. Early shows included a euro-house and techno jam, hip hop mixing, and classic rock. After moving in '93, he settled down for awhile, listening to more than he was playing...a NiN concert in '95 proved to be his catalyst. For the next several years, he began spinning records and CDs again, though this time, it was mostly for parties. Now, in '99, with an army of samples and a head full of ideas, P.I.M.P. decides to elevate his music. 23 year old Mike Logan sees the Net (and MP3.com) as "the only way to go...for beginners"; "It is the musical prospect of the future..besides reaching untold millions of people." Currently stuck in Middle Georgia, P.I.M.P. has 4 songs that have recieved airplay on WRVU. |
