Artist History
Founded in 1987, Lochinvar began as a songwriting collaboration between vocalist Paula Blade and guitarist Steve Rabeler. The band developed a harder edge with the addition of guitarist John Walker in 1989, while still retaining their knack for strong vocal melodies. Lochinvar has opened for bands such as Starship, Lillian Axe, and April Wine, been featured on the compilation album "12x12", appeared on the television shows Dallas Music Videos and Front Row Centre, and played hundreds of shows in Texas and Oklahoma. Look for a new CD in 2002! |

Press Reviews
"WOW! Here's a Melodic band that I would sign right away, if I had a label! .... I must say that it's been a long time since I've heard this many good songs from an Independent band. It's almost too good to be true! .... This ROCKS Big Time!"- Wally Wallstrom, AOR Europe (Sweden) "This LOCHINVAR is a fantastic band, a gift to the fans of 80s typed classy female fronted melodic rock in the style of bands such as VIXEN, LAOS, HEART, WITNESS. Buy yourself a copy of this wonderful record!"- Gabor Kleinbloesem, Strutter'zine (Netherlands) "Melodic rock at its best" - Tonie van Poorten, Metal Maidens (Netherlands) |
