Artist description
On this album, John uses moving guitar lines and the percussive quailities of the acoustic guitar to get a full band sound by himself. Being that Texas is home, it's easy to hear the Texas-style blues shining through in many of these great tunes. "Emotions that words can't describe" is how John thinks of music. |

Artist History
John picked up his first giutar on his fifteenth birthday and hasn't put it down since. Cox was classically trained on the trumpet and taught himself the guitar for further development of his music theory. It's been a great emotional and creative release not to mention a good excuse to get away from the books while studying aerospace engineering at Texas A&M Universityin College Station, TX. Currently, Cox lives in Colorado. When he's not busy tearing it up on the slopes or punishing himself on the mountain bike trails, he can be found in local coffee shops laying down the funk. |
