Artist History
Emerald Rose is nearly five years old as a band now, and we're making an impact on "the scene" locally and nationally. This past October, we played to over 300 fans at the Variety Playhouse, Atlanta's #1 concert venue! We've also gained recognition with MP3.com, with songs in the top 20 in both Pop and Celtic. We're continuing to write, play, and tour the Southeast, and we're looking forward to a great 20001! |

Press Reviews
"The Performing Artist" magazine (November 2000) wrote: 'Like a deep belly laugh, there is an indescribable sense of liberation woven into the lyrics and music of Emerald Rose. A journey through their Celtic heritage interlaced with the sounds of pennywhistle, bouzouki, and lively percussion, the group takes the listener on a soul-searching journey through time and leaves you with a contented sigh and a smile on your lips. The vocals of Brian Sullivan, Arthur Hinds, Larry Morris and Clyde Gilbert create a warm blend of traditional Irish and Scottish melody that leaves you raising your glass for more! |
