Artist History
This is the true continuation of what mine was all about! Cataract is taking music to a new level of brutality, heaviness and furnace. Cataract was formed by Simon and Ricky, the two founding members of mine in early fall One-Double-Nine-Eight. Together with Greg of Cease the project rised from the ashes of mine like a phoenix and soon became more than a band for all of the involved so far. The line-up was very soon completed by one of Europe’s best singer, elision’s Christian "Mosh” Ebert and with Michi Henggeler they found a very talented man on the bass. Those two guys fit in right away and made "the bastard” even heavier and more powerful. This was the moment when Cataract was ready to destroy the world… A demo was recorded 4 weeks after the first practise. It sold 400 Copies. Shortly after it was sold out, Infinite records decided to release it on MCD. 1’500 of it are gone now… One of the new tracks is also released on the "JOIN THE TEAM PLAYER RECORDS"-Compilation CD and another one on the "INSIDE VIEW-FANZINE"-Complation. |
