Artist History
Born in the Bronx, New York, Bro. Reuben began his musical career at age14 when his Father gave him his first D.J. mixer and his Mother gave him undying PATIENCE!!!. Armed with his Gemini 1000 and two off brand turntables, Bro. Reuben entered into the world of Hip Hop. At age 15 he formed the "Together Brothers Crew". He then formed another at age 17 called "The Brass Crew", where he was an intricate member of the crowd thrilling "Tragic 3 MC's", performing throughout New York City. His experiences have helped him to develop his unique vocal style and strong stage presence. His experiences have also taught him to see through the illusions of fame and has sharpened his focus on the actual "BUSINESS" of music, making that the foundation of his trade. At age 18, Bro. Reuben moved to the West Coast, and after serving in the Marine Corps, followed the advice of his beloved cousin Earl (D.J. ET), and became a solo rap artist and producer. Bro. Reuben showed a natural flair for the stage and had smash performances throughout the West Coast which include: Long Beach College, Fullerton Colleges, and The Red Onion. Presently Bro. Reuben is the President and C.E.O.of Chill Mode Music, and has taken his Chill Mode Sound to the next level. He is now blasting the internet with his new single "Allah Is God". The feedback from this project has been completely amazing and we humbly thank you for your support.Keep an eye on this brother, because, if his latest is any indication of what is to come, we are witnessing the equivalent to a bursting Super Nova on the music scene.
