Artist History Together since 2002 Shades of Grey is a testiment to the true power of the internet. Through joining a musician's web site Lead singer and songwriter Mike Williford was able to connect with band members Matt Orth, Larry Hagstrom, and Matt Garman. Unfortunately the band recently lost Larry proving that, while effective in meeting people, some internet relationships just don't last in the real world.
