Artist description The Cocktail Lizards offer a bluesy sound of rock and pop. Their live sound captures a chemistry that the four members have felt ever since they began playing together in the early 90s. This chemistry translates into a solid rhythm section that is overlaid with good melodies. They recently completed the first Cocktail Lizards CD which gives the audience a chance to take a Lizard home (at least in the audio sense).

Artist History The members of the band have been involved with numerous bands and projects throughout the Philadelphia area for over 22 years and began performing together as ‘Juniors on Fire’ in the early 90s. Mike and Lynda began creating the ‘Cocktail Lizard sound’ as an acoustical duo playing at local book stores, coffee houses, area clubs, and private functions. The intent was to create an atmosphere of a get-together in the home, except that another venue would be hosting the party. Since the former band mates were usually at the ‘party’ and sitting in, it made sense to expand the Cocktail Lizards into its present form and once again tap into the chemistry created when the four get together as one.

Group Members The band features Tom Wiker - Drums, Bruce Hershey - Bass, Lynda Zaneski – Vocals & Personality, and is led by Mike Zaneski – Guitar & Vocals.
