Artist description
Mixstudio started out as a home recording studio and has evolved into an environment where an artist can create in a small comfortable atmosphere without the pressure of an over priced commercial facility. The indie artist can tap into the experience engineer Doug Gherna has gained through the years working with grammy award winning Bonnie Raitt and many more artists such as Joe Walsh, Night Ranger, Bruce Hornsby, Jackson Brown, Kim Wilson, Charles and Ruth Brown, Bryan Adams, John Hiatt, Prong, Adrian Belew, Sheryl Crow, Keb Mo, Bella Fleck, Shawn Colvin, Pat Travers, Michael Bruce(songwriter guitarist for the original Alice Cooper Group), Richard Thompson, Paul Brady, Riggs (guitarist for Rob Zombie) Michael Ward (Wallflowers guitarist) and countless others. Been on the road most of the year in the U.S. and Europe with Bonnie Raitt and her band promoting the Silver Lining cd, so excuse the lack of updates. Other engineering and mixing credits include: The Grammy Awards Show, The VH1 Honors Show, The Late Show with David Letterman, The Tonite Show with Jay Leno, The Oprah Winfrey Show, BBC TV Presents The Jules Holland Show Live, and The David Sanborn Show. |
