    Artist History
Sit down, folks, and let me tell you a story about a young Russian adventurer who found the prized treasure of music. I started making music in the summer of 1999. I downloaded some simple sequencer/tracker program that had pre-made beats, synths, bass, etc. That August, my older bro's friend showed me my first real music program, "ReBirth" by Propellerhead Software. From then on I was hooked on making music. I decided to call myself Cloudscape. I made my first techno tunes in the fall and winter of '99. I started to put my music up on MP3.com during this time. At the turn of the (celebrated, but I guess technically not the real one) millenium, I found a program called "Fruityloops" by Image Line. Throughout most of 2000, I made dance tunes using that program (with a few drum & bass deviations). I used both programs at the start of 2001 and kept making dance tunes. I stopped making dance music that summer (and also stopped posting on MP3.com and took 'www.mp3.com/cloudscape' down). Throughout the second half of 2001 and the first half of 2002, I searched for a new way of making music (both musically and technically). I finally ended up using the program "Reason" by Propellerhead Software in the summer of 2002, and started to make new music (now just as myself instead of a moniker) at the end of the summer. I created www.mp3.com/mokhov and started putting up new music at the beginning of September 2003. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
