Artist History
From small town Guelph, Ontario, this band of four takes upon themselves the challenge of encompassing each members musical background and influences and molding all of them to form a unique mixture of punk, post-hardcore, emo, and rock justifying their new albums name "Where Ends Meet". With their ability to fashion harmony and composition, Matt Seccafien and Brandon Marsh, write the melodic music and lyrics behind Headstruck with Brandon Marsh on lead vocals and rhythm guitar and Matt Seccafien on lead guitar and backing vocals. They are then joined with the rhythmic team of Matt Herman on the bass guitar, and Kyle Sloopka on the drums. The band was finally completed with the joining of Herman in 2003, and now, with the bass spot confidently filled, Headstruck functions at its best; writing music with the sincerity and focus as bands twice their age.
The band keeps itself busy playing many shows in the southern Ontario area, performing to an ever growing fan base. Their self-titled debut EP, features 5 very different songs from the bands early stages and their new album "Where Ends Meet", which is currently in the production stages, is an album the band is excited about making, saying the mix of genres will peak the interest of a larger audience. The release date for the album is scheduled for late October of 2003. Headstruck has a lot to learn and a long way to fame, but their hard work and high hopes will pay off sooner or later.
