Artist History
Brothers Joseph and Justin Scro met Ryan Aylward
in 1996 and eventually began playing music
together in the year 2000 with a variety of
other players before slimming down to a trio
and forming their first band, Godf$ck.
Deciding that no one would get the joke, Ryan, Justin,
and Joseph changed their name to Camera in 2002
after their love and background in film.
Their newest demos were produced by themselves,
for free in the basement of 809 Walden Court;
Joseph and Justin's family home in early 2003. |

Press Reviews
I am very impressed with these guys. Not only are they good musicians, but
they seem to be pushing the musical envelope with unique lyrics, and playing
ability that I haven't seen or heard in bands lately. Not that they sound
like them, but they have the same uniqueness as the beginnings of Led
Zeppelin.
Vocal and playing styles can change from one song to the next so
dramatically that you wonder if it's another group of guys altogether. Some
record companies don't like that, but personally, I don't want to hear a CD
where every song sounds the same as the one before. You may find it hard to
pigeonhole Camera completely into one genre, but if you tried to do that with
the Beatles you would be out of luck too.
To me Justin, Joe, and Ryan are like their band's namesake "Camera" in the sense that if you
take a camera out to shoot pictures, you don't just take pictures of the
color green, you want the whole rainbow. This Camera gives you everything
you could want, and leaves you wanting more.
Some of the songs I personally like are: She Wants Out, This Crazy Place, and Ros Matter
