Artist History
Transistor 7 was originally formed by bass guitarist Chip Tayloe, guitarist Candy Kramer, and drummer Victor Galloway in the fall of '95 in Wilmington, North Carolina. Chip and Victor had worked together on The Burn Victims, a local Wilmington band in the late '80's, and Victor was currently playing with guitarist Candy in a local band called Kiva. As Victor, the drummer, puts it, "We got together as a side project. The guitarist, Sam Glaize, for Kiva was touring with another local band, Sweetfeed, and he said we could do side projects until the tour was over. So me and Candy talked it over, and we decided to approach Chip because he wanted to get back into music." The rest as they say, is history |
