Artist History
Sharon started writing songs at age 14, about...1 year ago - yeah, 1 year, that's it. Pete Seeger has given praise to her song "Let My Life Flow Like the River". Sharon's songs have been featured on radio stations across the U.S. such as WQXR ("Woody's Children") and WBAI in N.Y.C. In April 1999, her composition "She Has Become A Woman" was performed at the United Nations in N.Y. and in October 1999, Sharon performed her original songs "Let My Life Flow Like the River" and "For All the War Torn Countries" at a U.N. Association luncheon honoring the U.N. Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs. Sharon sang as "Waffle From Belgium" (yes, the Belgian Waffle) in the wacky a cappella quintet "Whatever4". Now's she's on the loose as a solo performer, though she often performs as a duo with Stammers Rameau, and with the Ray Korona Band, and the Etan Quartet. She has sung background vocals for Pete Seeger, Charlie King, and many other talented artists. |
