Artist description Possibly the compliment that we have heard the most, and the one comment that we really enjoy hearing, is that we don't sound like anybody else. We try to create exciting, honest, and original rock music. Sometimes it's serious, sometimes it's fun, but we don't copy anybody and we're always in this for ourselves and for our fans. We're here only to make the music that we enjoy, regardless of what other people think, and hopefully it shows.

Music Style Guitar-driven rock music drawn from a wide variety of influences

Musical Influences Pearl Jam, Phish, Radiohead, Moe, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Built to Spill, Godspeed You Black Emperor!, many others

Similar Artists Hopefully we only sound like ourselves, but there is an obvious mix of influences drawn from each band member, from classic rock to relatively unknown indie rock to jam bands and a little modern rock.

Artist History Constructed from the core members of the band Oblivion, Shaman's Elixir as it appears today has been together since early 2001, although Dave and Dan have been playing together for years. We've just released our first CD, a four-song EP entitled "Listen", which we encourage you to do.
