Press Reviews
People hotfoot it out of bands all the time, right? And most of them end up in the "What ever happen to..."file. Not so in the case of singer Karl Agell, who parted with punk/metal legends Corrosion Of Conformity in June of 1993. From there, he went on to form LEADFOOT...the band headed west to record Bring It On at Grandmaster Recordings in Hollywood for Roadrunner Records. The record was shelved until The Music Cartel released it in July of 1998. In June of 1999, Leadfoot went into Sound Of Music studios in Richmond, VA to record their sophomore release for The Music Cartel, Take A Look. This release sees the band continue it1s progression into the straight-up rock songwriting world with a collection of radio-friendly tunes that still have that raw energy. Known for their kick-ass live performances, Leadfoot plan to take their show on the road through 2000 in support of Take A Look. The band is currently touring up and down the East Coast and will soon be heading West. They have opened for many nationals in their hometown region including a blistering set as the side stage opening for Black Sabbath this past summer. |
