She flips, She dives, She twists with the skill of any of her rap counter parts old or new school. She combines her latin fire with heavy weight rap grooves. She raps in English and Spanish at any tempo featuring a diverse rhyme style. Knesee began her career as a Latin hip-hop vocalist in 1991. Her first stab at the industry was with former producer Robert as they were known as RAZMATAZ. After a brief stint with RAZMATAZ, Knesee joined La Familia in 1992 headed by M.C. Spookie. While a part of La Familia productions she was featured as a vocalists during live performances. After 2 years of performing live Knesee left the music Industry to pursue other endeavors. However, the burning desire to be a performer never faded. In 1998 Knesee ran into M.C. Spookie again and expressed interest in getting back into music. He brought her to the attention of his then manager/producer Ducado "Duke" Vega who was reluctant to sign her to his C.O.A. roster. He had a Latina vocalist already, however, Duke had another plan in mind, why not try her as a rapper? Knesee had an interest in rapping, but never pursued it seriously. Duke decided to feature her on a M.C. Spookie recording and the rest is History. Her ability to learn and adapt to new Rhyme styles goes unchallenged. Everything Duke laid out as an obstacle Knesee met the challenge like a true warrior. Duke and Knesee have forged a friendship and working relationship that is truly magic. You've got to hear it to believe it, and once you' ve heard it then you' ll know Knesee aint no joke. Her first EP 12 Months 365 Days is a dynamo.
