Artist History
Katya was chosen out of 300 performers by Chris Douritas (KCRW / Dreamworks) and Gemma Dempsey (KCRW / Leaving Las Vegas Soundtrack) in L.A. for an internationally released compilation CD called "2623 Main Street" on Sapphire Records. It was aired on L.A. radio station KLOS, Local Licks Show. Katya performed at the 1st Annual Festival for International Women's Day. She also performed at the OJAI Foundation in their 1st & 2nd Annual Women's Festivals. Those appearances led to a rock concert recorded live on video and CD (now available) for an AIDS Benefit in Tarzana. She has recorded with drummer, Steve Perkins (Jane's Addiction/Porno for Pyros) on one of her songs. Katya opened up for "All Star," the Oingo Boingo Band. She also played in the VIP Room at the House of Blues. She has been taking over L.A. So do not miss her next show! |
