Press Reviews
-Access Magazine Augest 99Honey brown beer is a good pale ale, but the band Honeybrowne is better. The Bands name was inspired from a beer advertisement on a small round coaster after one too many pitchers of beer in a bar called the Tap Room. And from this auspicious beginning in 1995, the band Honeybrowne was fromed into a rocking country band. Or perhaps I shouldn't so much categorize them as "country", because the term that might work better is "country with a kick". or even "Texas Rock"... " what is most important to us is everybody getting together and having a really good time." They are doing both, regionally for now, but I have asneaking suspicion (and I'm never wrong) that they will be touring nationally by the fall, high on the scuffed-up boots of their newly produced CD.
