    Press Reviews
"The song's charm lies in the fact that it is doubly retro. Not only are the lyrics and harmony familiar, but the 303 squelches and squaks hark the listener back to the early stages of electronic music's innocence and simplicity. The song, out on the Sm:)e label, is rooted in reminiscence, but it is by no means bogged down; the complexity of the breaks and the vocal distortions make it purely modern. Like all great electronic music, "Dear Prudence" has a very human element; it may eventually become a jungle anthem." Out Magazine August 98"New York's DJ Kazimir skillfully transforms this classic tune into a modern-day drum&bass track which is well suited for both mix shows and Sunday night rock shows. The track features the gorgeous vocals of chanteuse Carol C., and seamlessly fuses a pop melody with a fierce rhythm track, a feat often attempted but seldom realized as well as it is here. Make sure you hear this." - Virtually Alternative June 98 "New-comer New Yorker Kazimir has done it: He's junglized a Beatles song. You knew it was going to happen eventually but had no idea that they would go this well together. Check out Carol C's sugary lyrical bliss on the Vocal Mix. It's real real sweet." Flyer Magazine July 98"That's a PHAT loop" - Kool Keith on Dear Prudence in Vibe Magazine March 99
