Artist History The band CONDITION 1 is comprised of Babtanian on guitars and vocals, Jaybird on bass guitar and back-up vocals and Smirnoff on drums. Babtanian & Jaybird met at an anti-terrorist unit in the U.S.M.C. about two years ago. After they were discharged from the service, they set up shop in Babtanian's home town of Chicago, IL. Soon they found drummer Jeremy Smirnoff. After 5 months of preparation, the band was ready to unleash their unique brand of music on Chicago. Soon they were out doing what they love more than anything else - Jammin' Live! As for the future of Condition 1; it lies in the band's mission statement... Keep moving forward, never look back, play 'till they drop and either make it in this business, or die in the pursuit of it. CONDITION 1 , "Chicago's Alternative to Alternative."
