Press Reviews Listen.com review Perhaps because they're from a land far from California, Bushido Dragons struck out to create the balmy weather appropriate to their surf rock indoors. Discovering that the lavish amounts of reverb they slathered on their music didn't make the Michigan snow melt any faster, they decided to forge paths leading in other directions: mainly those that followed the curve of Power Pop. They pepped up the Surf sound by throwing off the consistency of rhythms, adding bouncier melodies, and focusing on their half-whispered, half-sung vocals.
