Artist History
Brennan became interested in the guitar at age 13, inspired by eighties virtuoso Eddie Van Halen. The early days of his playing mostly consisted of songs by Eric Clapton and other blues artists, and he still has a heavy blues influence in his music today. Brennan spent a semester at Berklee College of Music with the incentive of a $4,000 scholarship awarded to him because of a tape he submitted. With the immense competition at Berklee, the scholarship encouraged him to continue with his music in full fledge. Recently, Brennan has begun work on a full album to be released in summer of the year 2000. Composing and recording everything himself, along with compadre Aidan Bain, "Maelstrom" (the title for the new album) is an immense project. With it's symphonic, dramatic feel and solid beat, "Maelstrom" should be a transformational and thought provoking experience. |
