Press Reviews
Someone here knows how to write a song or two. Reviewing this disc was a pleasure because it was well written and well produced, making it easy to listen to. Annie's vocals are soulful as well as powerful. There's a hint of Tori Amos in her voice, but the songs stand alone just fine. After one listen, you find yourself humming along with the choruses, which says volumes about her ability to craft memorable songs. There is no reason to think that she won't be able to secure her place as a successful singer and songwriter...especially if she keeps writing like this. - Up 'N' Coming Artists Foundry Music 1999 |
