Artist History
Logston, Shields, and Wade (formerly of The Wayside) teamed up
with Jennings and Morgan to form Benny Shame in November of
2002. They immediately began work on "Routines" and recorded
the album that winter. By May the album was complete.
"Routines" is intended to be a demo album, the songs are used
as a means of communicating the bands potential, providing
the listener with a strong idea of the groups, musical and
lyrical talent and direction. Not only is "Routines" the
band's creative endeavor, but it is also up and coming
musical engineer Josh Arnold's venture.
While Benny Shame is a young band, the members are of
varied experience. Logston, Shields, and Wade have
gained significant popularity throughout the midwest
having been the forefathers of The Wayside. Jennings
and Morgan are highly respected musicians with a wide
range of experience. They offer their expertise to a
select group of bands in the area. Logston, Shields, and
Wade sought them out for their musical ability and
knowledge of song composition. The band continues to
write music and plans to begin their first series of shows
this coming winter. For more information concerning play
