Think The Smiths and U2 (Then include indie mainstays such as American Analog Set, Mogwai, Death Cab for Cutie, and Belle & Sebastian). They are a formidable live act and have a thoroughly modern and rawkish sound for certain (and rawkish isn’t even a word). Melodies de melancholy with a firm dose of ingeniously frenetic guitar work.
