Artist History
Nomadic Band has had two incarnations one as an experimental band in 80's made up of assorted musicians and non-musicians that played whatever there was to be played. The current sole remaining band member played, for example, an ashtray he found in the hall of a local cable station in the only televised performance of the band. The other incarnation was as a "bhajan" band leading Sanskrit chanting in local yoga studios using world-beat type music. Line included two female vox, tablas, congas/bongos, harmonium, violin and occasionally bass and flute. The "New" band is only one person with lots of computer helpers--but musicians are circling and will soon pounce. |
