Artist History
Juniper's Daughter is a female-fronted pop/rock
band from Boston MA. Lead singer/guitarist Erin
Murphy started the band four years ago and it has
evolved into its current line-up of guitarist Rob
Panarelli, bassist Pam Kerensky, and drummer Chad
Cunningham. The musical style of Juniper's Daughter can be
compared to that of The Pretenders, The Cranberries,
and Melissa Etheridge. The songs are heartfelt,
melodic, and memorable.
They have been very well received at some of the
Northeast's most important music venues, such as
TT The Bear's Place (Boston, MA), the Met Café
(Providence, RI) and Meow Mix Bar (New York City). They have also shared the stage with regional artists such as Carla Ryder, Two Ton Shoe and Kelly Buchanan.
Some additional highlights over the past few years
include a side stage performance at the Tweeter
Center, MA, guest hosts on WPXY-Pixy 103, and
WKPE, Cape Cod, MA, a live performance on WBRS
(Brandeis College) "The Joint" and an on-air
interview with John Lander on Boston's Mix 98.5.
Erin's mom's name is NOT Juniper! The band name
is derived from the goddess Juniper Daughter,
who represents self-esteem, motivation and
positive things - stuff they like to think their
music is about. Most of all, they like to rock,
which is confirmed by the feedback from their
fans who follow them all over the New England
area - and soon, the world!!
