Artist History I was asked to join my first band as a singer when I was about 14 by a friend named John. After about 2 practices they all decided to kick me out and have me replaced. Since then I've done nothing but write my heart out about everything I felt and thought, from having my heart broken, to seeing my friends get beat by their parents. After four more years of perfecting the craft of singing, I joined my first real band called Next To Last, we worked our butts off to make up as many good songs as we could and played countless drunken shows at our practice space on the weekends. Eventually we got on a very indie, local record label called I.D.G.F., recorded a cd and started really promoting the band (You can sample songs off mp3.com by typing Next To Last in the search drive and clicking on the appropriate title), but sometimes things happen you don't expect and after we recorded the cd, one of those things was me getting kicked out of my house. I stayed with about four families over the period of about six months and couldn't take being a bum anymore, so I joined the Navy. After leaving boot camp I bought a guitar and started working on my own solo stuff, this four song set is what I've come up with so far since teaching myself how to play guitar. Hope you like it.
